The Regional Account Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining profitable business relationships with our customers within the assigned geographic territory.  The Regional Account Manager will help to transform our customers through programs and training support in sales, marketing strategies, operations and inventory management for the tire category.  This role will focus on both the expansion of overall customer portfolio and loyalty at existing customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed sales and profit objectives set by the NTW management team
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Sell products to existing and prospective customers through cost-benefit and needs analysis  to demonstrate value
  • Canvas territory for customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows and promotional events to cultivate customer relationships
  • Use the CRM program to monitor and report customer activity and opportunities  
  • Keep up to date of best practices and sales/marketing trends
  • Follow all safety practices as outlined in policy and procedures
  • Other duties as requested or needed
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • PC proficient with an emphasis on CRM tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of automotive or tire industry preferred
  • Extensive travel   
  • Customer service orientation and a high level of professional integrity
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong telephone, verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain a current driver’s license
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
