Description

Primarily responsible for the oversight of delivery teams including management of projects, requests, incidents, problems and change management. This position is also responsible for strategic direction and project management for all I&O capabilities and partner functions. The Director will provide advice and direction to all delivery teams. This role is responsible for the tactical and strategic management of all I&O teams including: Client Systems, Mobility Management, Asset Management, Voice/Data Network Operations, iSeries Engineering, SAP Basis and System Administration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the I&O strategy in alignment with the overall Technology and business objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of I&O offerings, capabilities and initiatives, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with Technology and business  leaders to identify requirements and enhancements to support Technology and business processes and initiatives.
  • Lead I&O roadmap and optimization strategy by building streamlined and effective solutions that enable key initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HR analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Additional Job Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with I&O vendors and ensure the effective delivery of services.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within I&O operations, utilizing Agile methodologies to implement effective changes.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new offerings, systems and processes.
  • Maintain and develop deep technical understanding of I&O technology and trends and best practices to continually improve functionality.
  • Manage relationships with I&O vendors, ensuring the organization receives optimal service and support.

Continued Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to I&O team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide Daily operational oversight of activities including project deliverables and break fix activities.
  • Provide point of escalation for all I&O related issues
  • Participate in the intake and prioritization process as appropriate to provide estimates of level of effort, complexity and impact or dependencies on existing workloads
  • Participate in the solution and design as appropriate for all I&O activities

Added Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a departmental budget including hardware, software, services, telecommunications, supplemental labor and payroll.
  • Management and administration of I&O related contracts including purchase, maintenance and hosting agreements.
  • Lead, coach and mentor the leaders and individual performers within the group.
  • Coordinate resource allocation with other teams to ensure the timely and successful completion of required deliverables.
  • Determine optimal staffing models to support required delivery including resource utilization and required skill sets
  • Complete required administrative tasks including performance and compensation management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in the design, implementation and management of enterprise I&O capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and processes
  • Strong knowledge of key infrastructure systems including voice/data, data center (colocation), IaaS, PaaS, CCaaS technologies
  • Knowledge of the planning, organization, implementation and management of I&O capabilities
  • Ability to meet expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives
  • Successful candidates will possess excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills. They must have a flexible, organized work style necessary to balance the need for daily operational support versus the need for long term software development related projects.
  • Degree and Education Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field would be considered the minimum for this position. 
  • Work Experience: This position requires at least ten years’ experience in Infrastructure and Operations, with at least five years in a leadership role.
  • Bilingual in Spanish /English is a plus
