Description

TBC Corporation is seeking a Tradeshows & Events Manager based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to assist our organization in delivering phenomenal events that build business relationships, generate excitement around our organization, support stakeholder engagement, amplify brand awareness, and create a memorable event experience. The event leader will be responsible for conceptualizing event themes, preparing and managing event timelines, coordinating technical aspects, processing invoices, collaborating with marketing, managing event staff, preparing expenditure reports, and managing risk. Your creativity and resourcefulness in organizing and hosting successful events that meet business objectives will aid us in promoting products, engaging with customers, inspiring confidence in our brand, and communicating brand strategy to internal and external stakeholders. TBC’s Tradeshows & Events Manager will join a high-performing Corporate Communications team and report to the Vice President, Corporate Communications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute company's internal and external conferences and events, annual meetings, and team-building retreats.
  • Create event timelines, event agendas, schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and culture.
  • Coordinate logistics elements such as site selection, transportation, accommodations, catering, audiovisual equipment, and other logistical details for each event.
  • Manage event registration, attendee communication, and execution to ensure a seamless experience for participants.
  • Coordinate with speakers, presenters and performers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Serve as the bridge between organization, participants, event venues and vendors, and process payments and invoices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop engaging and informative presentations, workshops, and activities.
  • Oversee the design and production of event materials, signage, and branded merchandise.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive event environment that promotes networking, collaboration and employee morale.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for senior executives, presenters and other performers.
  • Facilitate post-event surveys and feedback sessions to evaluate event success and gather insights for future improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in event management to enhance the quality and impact of our conferences and events.
  • Ability to travel 6-8 times per year to various locations in the U.S. and Mexico to oversee and execute company events.

Qualifications

  • Degree in hospitality, public relations or marketing.
  • 8+ years of work experience.
  • Multi-tasker with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communicator and rapport builder.
  • Highly organized and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency under demanding deadlines.
  • Highly efficient project management abilities and the ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail, high-quality work and the ability to make recommendations are essential.
  • Experience developing communications for global and multinational audiences a plus.
  • Experience in event management software programs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Certification in event planning or project management is a plus.
