Talent Acquisition Business Sr./Manager

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Business Manager serves as a Business Partner for all things regarding talent acquisition and the overall end-to-end recruiting process for their area of responsibility.  This role will significantly influence their business leaders and RPO partners regarding recruiting strategy and ensures a strong focus on candidate and client experience.  They will create strong partnership with the Business Unit Leadership in implementing hiring strategies based on the unique needs of each business and bridge that strategy to their PRO partners to create an integrated strategy that creates a winning culture for new hires and existing associates. The Business Manager’s effectiveness will be measured by how well they perform in obtaining improvements in number of new hires, business process improvements, associate retention, and reductions in turnover.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute highly efficient and customer-facing Talent Acquisition RPO team across the Company by managing a segment of a RPO company to deliver the talent needed by the business leaders in the most effective and efficient manner possible.  This group will need to be client-focused, and who ensure consistency in recruitment strategy and practices across their line of business.
  • Partner with the operational leaders and respective teams to foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness; with out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Be viewed as the subject matter expert in attracting, hiring, and retaining talent to gain seat at the table for business discussions.
  • Use data to determine future recruitment strategies and staffing levels across line of business ensuring that goals are aligned with the needs of the business.
  • Perform analysis and make recommendations to HR leadership and RPO partners on best practices and course of action to take to improve overall RPO performance.
  • Strategize with Field Leadership to develop and implement ways to attract and retain talented employees through long term career and salary management such as career paths, career progression, etc.
  • Work closely with the RPO recruitment team as the liaison of the Business Unit to drive and measure the acquisition of superior talent in a timely manner.
  • Implement activities and initiatives that both demonstrate and drive diversity and inclusion in hiring, retention, career growth and business integration.
  • Partner with RPO partner on military recruitment initiatives to increase TBC presence as a designation source for former military personnel and spouses of military service members.
  • Work within the TA function on projects related to Student Internship Programs
  • Set up and drive development of relationships with local technical/trade schools to support a continuous pipeline of new talent into the line of business where applicable.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to develop, implement and drive 21st century marketing solutions i.e. social media campaigns, to reach a wider audience of prospective candidates.
  • Must be able to travel in a large geographic area when necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, preferred
  • PHR or SPHR or equivalent certification preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive, professional experience with multi-unit, multi-state experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or greater level.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and influence skills in dealing with all levels of management and effective at developing strong credibility and working relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand business priorities and translate them into a Talent Acquisition agenda and goals that supports the business.
  • Ability to relate to and coach managers on best practices in hiring candidates.
  • Ability to work both on a team (as member and/or leader) and independently to deliver results
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes
  • Ability to think strategically and act locally
  • Must have ability to exercise independent judgment, properly handle highly confidential sensitive information, flex to changing needs and situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to work cross functionally across geographies, cultures, up and down the organization with proven ability to build relationships, establish trust.
  • Ability to work self-directed, multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment with strict deadlines while demonstrating strong critical thinking, problem solving skills and a sense of urgency.
  • Action and detail oriented, strong customer service skills and drive for results, must be a team player.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SAP, Success Factors ATS, Smartsheet
