Description

The Senior Manager, Sales Operations, plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence across TBC Wholesale’s sales operation organization. This role serves as the primary liaison between key customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies, service delivery, and issue resolution. In addition, this position oversees Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), aligning supply chain capabilities with customer demand to optimize service levels, inventory, and profitability.

 

This is an onsite position located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

 

A minimum of 4 days a week is required in the office for this position (allowing for one day a week to be remote).

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Customer Engagement

  • Primary point of contact for Channel Leaders & Key account customers, ensuring high levels of service, responsiveness, and satisfaction. 
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic service & sales offerings tailored to Customer Channel.
  • Plan and co/lead the Dealer Advisory Committee Meetings.
  • Guide customers to maximize programs from National Tire Brands.  Ex. Mast, Cooper medallion.
  • Manage contractual obligations including pricing, compliance, and service-level agreements with National Brands, MAST, Cooper ex.
  • Collaborate with marketing, pricing, and inventory management teams to ensure alignment and integration of strategies, providing a unified approach to sales operations and sales channel leads.
  • Resolve operational issues across the customer lifecycle, coordinating with distribution centers and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to ensure seamless communication and coordination between sales, marketing, pricing, and inventory management teams.
  • Promote TBC Wholesale’s value proposition to drive growth and uncover new distribution opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer executives, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Purchasing, etc.).
  • Drive volume and revenue growth in alignment with national account targets.
  • Improve gross margin performance across assigned accounts through strategic pricing and service optimization.
  • Assist with execution of RFP completion for Key Accounts.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and cross-pollination of knowledge within the organization.
  • Implement training programs and workshops to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales operations team.
  • Encourage and facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members to drive innovation and improve overall team performance.

 

Demand Planning & S&OE

  • Lead the demand planning process for TBC Wholesale, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with sales and inventory strategies.
  • Oversee the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process, ensuring short- to mid-term demand signals are translated into actionable supply chain plans.
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to balance demand and supply, minimize stockouts, and optimize inventory turns.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory health.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales operations, demand planning, or supply chain management, preferably in a wholesale or distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of S&OE and demand planning best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage large customer accounts and drive profitable growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP and forecasting systems; experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong ability to synthesize and communicate complex market intelligence to sales teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment between sales, marketing, pricing, and inventory management.
