Description

TBC Corporation is seeking an experienced, strategy-minded, and enthusiastic Digital Merchandising leader to join our dynamic Wholesale Customer Marketing team, to drive eCommerce sales and brand growth across internal and external platforms.

As the Digital Merchandising Lead, you will champion the TBC Wholesale Customer digital experience and be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and execution of digital merchandising plans and marketing strategies across multiple eCommerce platforms that align with our strategic objectives and brand image.

Reporting to the VP of Customer Marketing, the ideal candidate for this role is a strategic, creative, analytical, and innovative leader with a passion for digital marketing and eCommerce.  The Digital Merchandising Lead will spearhead the execution of a comprehensive digital merchandising strategy, analyze eCommerce KPIs, and help create a friction-less shopping experience for customers, focused on driving conversions across key product categories for all internal TBC digital properties and online marketplaces (including Walmart.com & Amazon.com).

Job Responsibilities

Site Experience & CX Optimization

  • Lead the development of the online customer experience strategy in collaboration with key cross-functional leaders. Draft requirements for API experience and TBC’s wholesale eCommerce re-platforming (including guiding wireframe design).
  • Analyze customer behavior and feedback to identify strategic opportunities for improving the online shopping experience across platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional team to develop learning plan and implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to enhance website usability and performance. Share actionable findings with the extended marketing organization.
  • Examine the site daily/weekly to ensure products are optimized for customer experience, links lead to the correct categories/pages, and product setup is accurate, creating a seamless customer experience.
  • Create plans and strategies for monetizing and marketing including site banners, landing pages, and navigation to deliver an intuitive online shopping experience.

 

Market Analysis & Strategic Insights

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Monitor and evaluate industry trends and competitor activities to stay informed of best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Champion monthly reviews and reports on eCommerce KPIs and provide in-depth performance analysis – category performance, new growth opportunities, site conversion, testing ideas, and customer shopping behavior.
  • Interpret digital analytics to understand what drives customer traffic and conversion on our sites.
  • Optimize product search, navigation, sorting, content, and overall product merchandising strategies.

Additional Job Responsibilities

Strategic eCommerce Merchandising

  • Build a strategy to optimize product listings and execute product descriptions, images and videos to improve searchability and conversion rates.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance metrics to recommend strategic changes and improvements.
  • Manage the digital lifecycle of new product placement, including creation and validation of new product images, copy and positioning.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all product launches, activating new SKUs online and deactivating discontinued SKUs.

Continued Responsibilities

Digital Content Strategy & Planning

  • Upgrade and maintain product content on TBC’s e-commerce platforms. Create briefs for photography to address gaps in tire brand imagery.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and informative content that aligns with brand standards.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of product information across all digital channels.
  • Partner with digital platform teams to build product content to support seasonal promotions.
  • Maintain and grow the tire product review platform and identify channels to encourage customer reviews.

Added Responsibilities

Marketplace Management

  • Accelerate eCommerce growth at key retailers (Amazon.com, Walmart.com) with eCommerce Channel sales leaders
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to build strategic partnerships with our national retail partners and customers
  • Create and manage brand storefronts, on-platform paid media & promotional campaigns (+ performance tracking and optimization)
  • Attain & maintain Amazon Ads Academy & Walmart Connect Academy certifications
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Master’s / MBA degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in digital merchandising or e-commerce preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet project timetables.
  • High-level project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office Tools
  • Willing to travel 10%
