Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

This is a great growth opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst that enjoys challenging analytical work & spearheading process improvement initiatives in order to provide insightful solutions that grow the company profitability! The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced, high pressure environments where they can improve processes and create efficiencies while also providing accurate, timely and insightful financial and operational analysis.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
  • Assist the FP&A Director and Manager with consolidation of the weekly/quarterly/annual forecasting and budgeting processes including:
    • Develop Planning timeline and meeting cadence
    • Generate sales, margin, and expense targets built off historical operational KPIs, trend, and known initiatives
    • Facilitate consolidation of inputs and provide insight on variances
  • Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports
  • Tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and preparing financial reports
  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance
  • Performing thorough research and analysis as required
  • Prepare and review financial presentations as required and reviewed with Senior Leadership team
  • Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations
  • Mentors staff under indirect reporting relationships
Qualifications
  • Four Year Degree – Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 3+ Years in a Finance-related job
  • Advanced Excel Skills Required – Complex Financial Modeling, and PowerPoint
  • Highly-proficient in financial planning systems
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently as the situation demands
  • Highly Organized, Attention to Detail, Results-Oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities, without sacrificing quality of results
  • Willingness to learn and embrace change
  • Creative – ability to take complex / unprecedented problem and propose solutions
  • Exhibits high sense of urgency
