Description

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role involves conducting risk assessments, training employees, and developing, implementing, and managing the company’s safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

Job Responsibilities

  • Compliance: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Safety Program Management: Utilize data from regular safety inspections, reporting and audits to identify potential hazards and serve as program leader to develop, implement, and manage safety programs to reduce risks and ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Training & Development: Plan and conduct safety training sessions for employees at all levels. Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain safety records and reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving safety practices and implement best practices. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish /English is a plus.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This is on-site position located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant safety certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, OSHA) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role.
  • Experience with safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, training skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in safety management systems and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills are required.
  • Report Design & Development of Dashboards.
  • Self-motivated attitude with excellent work ethic.
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly.
