The SEO Analyst is a member of the Digital team who will develop and execute SEO strategies on both enterprise level SEO and on local SEO strategies.   The foundation of this role is to develop a strong local SEO strategy across a large number of brick and mortar store locations throughout the USA & Canada & execute against that strategy.  This person will maintain at the enterprise level, consistent NAP in online local listings at scale using enterprise level tools to assist in the management of this.  This person will work with brand teams, franchisees, and with the Digital team to ensure the Local SEO presence of our brands in local market areas are sufficiently maintained and develop strategies to help our local stores gain rank locally in maps, knowledge graph, and standard SERPs.   In additional to Local SEO, you will be part of the SEO team to develop and execute enterprise level SEO strategies across a number of domains/brands in an agile work flow environment.  Also, you will work to develop a standard candance of reporting, benchmarketing and on-going audits (technical & content, competitive), ad hoc analysis of ranking fluctuations and helping to guide decisions being made on how to better our position brands in organic indexes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate store information and optimizes customer search experiences across 60+ directory publisher networks including Google (GMB), Microsoft, Verizon/Yahoo, Facebook, Apple Maps & other online local directory sources needed for NAP consistency.
  • Establish Reporting to gain insight on how local SEO traffic drives visits to our various websites & convert into appointments to store/customers.
  • Provide in-depth performance analysis – category performance, new growth opportunities, site conversion and possible testing ideas.
  • Maintain proper ADA compliance via local listings
  • Responsible for the development & execution SEO Strategies and Roadmap Projects across multiple branded websites (including Technical implementation of content on Blog/Article/Directory pages)
  • Conduct Technical, Content and Competitive Audits
  • Develop backlink strategies and execute backlink procurement strategies.

  • Maintain SEO Management tasks: Monthly ranking fluctuations, Monthly SEO reporting, Update sitemaps, maintain 301 redirects, Canonicalizations, maintain Robots.txt files, etxc.)

  • Write and Update Meta Titles, Descriptions, Alt Tags, H1 tags, etc.

  • Maintain/Analyze technical SEO: site crawlability, page speed, maintain page schema mark-up, page URL structure, etc.

  • Assist with on-going content development strategy & execution

Required: Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience.  4-year bachelor’s degree preferred.  Experience in agency setting or corporate environment preferred.  Previous experience in front or back end web development would be ideal.

Excellent computer skills, including intermediate to advanced knowledge utilizing: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. High level of understanding the foundational knowledge of how search engines work, how search algorithm’s work, extreme curiosity of the web, high internet/digital competency.

Have a solid understanding of SEO best practices; have an established track record of developing and executing SEO strategies on three main SEO tracks: technical, content & backlink development
