The SAP FICO Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the Company’s Business requirements are identified and achieved through proper system design, while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers in the SAP FICO module.

Job Responsibilites

  • Primary responsibility is to serve as the coordinator between business needs and SAP technical solutions

  • Gathers business requirements and translate them into technical/functional requirements for the creation of application features enhancements, and functions

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Development Leads and other members of the Development and Functional Teams to develop SAP solutions

  • Collaborate SMEs to coordinate and ensure delivery of appropriate architecture, technical design and solutions on multiple projects.

  • Participates in strategic Business/IT meetings to review, evaluate new technical challenges to improve operating efficiencies and business

  • Support Project Manager(s) with task identification, status reports, issue and risk mitigation.

  • Gather, assemble, and analyze key data to enable functional/technical oversight of projects 

  • Will be responsible for process flows, and gathering current business operational processes.

  • Will conduct systems analysis and evaluations, document existing functionality and procedures.

  • Performs system testing including the functionality, performance and fit to ensure requirements are met 

  • Designs and develops test plans (e.g. test objectives, test cases, test data and test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system or acceptance testing

  • Maintain constant communication on all duties and responsibilities across teams as assigned by management.

  • Analyze business requirements (functional and technical) by conducting information-gathering sessions

  • Perform the necessary configuration to support the business requirements in ECC 6.0.


  • At least 5-7 years overall experience to define, configure, develop and support all modules of SAP FICO i.e. FI-AR, FI-AP, FI-GL, FI-AA, FI-CO, FI-CCA, FI-PCA, Treasury and Cash management

  • Minimum 2-3 successful full lifecycle implementations

  • 3-5 yrs. Experience in integration between FI and other modules like SD, MM, WM, and HR etc.

  • 3-5 yrs. Experience in SAP banking processes i.e. Lockboxes, ACH, Check, Wires etc.

  • 3-5 yrs. Experience in IDOC-based SAP FICO business processes especially in areas of AR & AP

  • 2-3 yrs. Experience in designing SAP Integration with external Tax software Vertex is must

  • 1-2 yrs. Experience in configuring Vertex software for tax rules is preferred

  • Experience in requirement gathering, master data, customization, configuration, and testing/training

  • Experience in Order To Cash, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire and Record to Report process cycles

  • Experience in business process and functional specification documentation for Reports, Interfaces, Forms, Conversion, & Enhancement RICEF

  • Experience in data conversion, security profile definition requirements and must have participated in the training, go live, rollout end-state system support activities

  • Experience in test script documentation, unit test execution and user training.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Information Technology
