Description

The Real Estate Coordinator role primarily assists with market planning along with evaluating potential development opportunities. The role is responsible for coordinating and organizing the strategic real estate process from the beginning of site searches, through location approval.  The role is responsible to organize and communicate the development activity between the various business units involved (Real Estate Development, Franchise Development, and Operations).You will perform duties as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of internal GIS software and we will rely on you to analyze business opportunities for strategic fit as you assess both business needs and operational impact. Responsibilities include market and demographic research, analysis of competitive market, support in due diligence, and preparation of presentation materials needed for Executive and Board of Director approvals. The position would be an integral role within Corporate Development. This highly visible position functions in a fast-paced and highly disciplined environment and interacts with all functional areas within TBC development process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate development process (site selection, market strategy, sales forecasting & approvals)
  • Market analysis including population demographics, competitive analysis, industry data, trends analysis and evaluation of target opportunities for franchise, and wholesale groups
  • Point of contact for Real Estate team to complete evaluation of potential site performance of new store locations and impact analysis to current store footprint as the SME of GIS software
  • Responsible management and maintenance of Real Estate Strategic platforms including but not limited to Sitewise and Smartsheet. These responsibilities will cover mapping of current store footprint, pipeline locations, customers, and competitor footprint for franchise, and wholesale brands in addition to market share, penetration maps for current store locations and other additional data needs
  • Monitor and ensure completion of all pre-decision analysis to ensure robust data is available for decision making purposes. Including appropriate communication of issues, concerns or other roadblock items inhibiting progress
  • Prepare Real Estate development recommendation package for executive management

  • Complete other Real Estate Development ad hoc requests
  • Facilitate accomplishment of all milestones through interaction with appropriate parties
  • Document Corporate Development processes and procedures
  • Recommend continuous process improvements
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Support TBC Code of Business Conduct
     

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business preferably Finance, Project Management, Real Estate or related field
  • 5+ years relevant business experience in an analytical role, document administration, project management, or related real estate field
  • Ability to summarize and present key findings and prepare reports for management decision making
  • Excellent Project Management skills and the ability to adhere to timelines and milestones
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to gather full and complete information and provide concise and timely updates
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, graphs, and complex formulas
  • Proficiency in utilizing Smartsheet Project Management Software
  • Excellent organization and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects
  • Highly motivated, high energy, results driven individual
  • Team player and superior interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work under tight deadlines
  • Extensive Microsoft PowerPoint and Word experience
