Description
The Tax & Fixed Asset Compliance Analyst will support the company’s tax and finance functions by assisting with personal property tax compliance, maintaining fixed asset records, and providing support for sales and use tax filings. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a corporate tax and finance environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and file personal property tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
- Maintain and reconcile property tax records and asset listings
- Support tax audits by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
- Maintain the fixed asset subledger, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reconciliations between the subledger and the general ledger
- Support asset tagging, location tracking, and physical inventory processes
- Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure proper asset classification
- Assist with gathering data for sales & use tax filings
- Help research taxability of purchases and sales across jurisdictions
- Support audit responses and documentation requests
- Maintain exemption certificates and resale documentation
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finanace, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in tax compliance and fixed asset accounting
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP) and tax software is a plus
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
- Basic understanding of sales and use tax concepts
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Bilingual language skills in Spanish / English are a plus
