The PLCM Analyst I position is responsible for continuous optimization of the product screen to ensure the attainment of company goals and objectives. The position requires the ability to effectively research, develop and communicate recommendations to a wide audience including but not limited to Product Marketing, Purchasing, Marketing Services, Sales, Finance and Vendor Partners. This role requires a highly motivated Associate with close attention to detail and the ability to produce executive-level analysis.  

Job Responsibilities
  • Execute the product screen throughout the products lifecycle; from new product launch to end-of-life discontinuation.
  • Develop ad-hoc analysis for critical business issues.
  • PIPO activities will be treated as “projects” with a unique project identifier
  • Database will be paramount in tracking key milestone dates and allowing the creation of robust reporting for tracking and compliance
  • Liaison between Supply Chain & Product Marketing
  • Work with product marketing to establish key milestone dates for
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM) process management & code compliance
    • SKU level PLCM codes have been developed to provide certain “signals” across the process
    • Since May 1st we have made over 150k changes to PLCM codes
  • Work in this space will support the accuracy and creation of time phase plans

    • Supply (purchases)
  • Process enhancements and increased coordination & communication will improve overall launch process and working capital management associated with PIPO
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or other related field preferred.
  • 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical understanding of data and analytics.
  • Proven experience with MS Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with BI Platform; Cognos, Qlikview, Power BI, SAP BI, etc.
  • Experience working in ERP systems; Oracle, SAP, JDE, JDA, Epicor, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience producing and delivering analysis and recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with public speaking, in both small and large group settings.
  • Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic team player.
  • Comfortable managing multiple assignments and working with deadlines.
