National Sales Manager

Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Sales, this position is responsible for the development and maintenance of national account relationships with companies that operate a fleet of vehicles on a national scope.   The primary objectives for this position are to strategically grow TBC market share in the National Fleet account market segments by new account acquisition, maintenance of existing fleet accounts to maximize sales and profits, and monitor the service level execution of TBC channels among these customers.  This position will create and facilitate necessary training programs for the retail and franchise group to position TBC as the service provider of choice among the fleet account community. This position also is required to assist senior management with any special projects as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds TBC Corporation’s performance standards for quality and speed of service to our customers
  • Effective administration and management of Fleet account programs and initiatives.
  • Manage fleet account product and service needs ensuring that TBC is positioned to effectively service fleet accounts.
  • Successful maintenance of strong customer relationships with accounts.
  • Communication of business issues / trends with both customers and TBC management.
  • Sales Budget and Expense Management
  • Must be able to represent TBC Corporation at trade shows, conventions, promotional and customer sponsored events.
  • Ability to lead TBC store training on Fleet account growth and sales
  • Partner with internal business partners to develop action plans to maximum revenue realization
  • Collaborate with internal Business Partners to monitor performance and identify business opportunities and best practices
  • Partner with Field Management team ensure customers are served at the highest level possible; ensuring customer concerns are identified and addressed internally and systems are revised based on feedback
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service ability and a high level of professional integrity
  • Ability to communicate with many different levels of company management
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Ability to travel 60 % of time or greater
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or comparable experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or a related field of study is preferred
  • 8 + years’ experience with similar employer/ industry
  • Motivation for successful sales and profit results toward departmental and corporate goals
  • A proven history of successful sales expertise and growth
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth
  • Strong analytical ability, logic and mathematical skills
  • Strategic Account development and maintenance
  • Ability to grow revenues through territory expansion
  • Must have prior multi-site/ multi-state responsibilities in a management capacity
  • Extensive data analysis experience related to customer relationship management
  • Previous experience in a fast paced environment requiring strict organization, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Proficient in financial analysis
  • Proficient in preparing and managing financial budgets
  • Knowledge of best practices for fleet customer experience management and the customer lifecycle
  • Ability to implement and monitor a strong internal quality improvement program
  • Required Technical skills: Microsoft Office
