The Insurance Compliance Coordinator As a member of the Legal Department ensures the company’s approximately 1,500 independently owned and operated franchise locations across the United States and Canada are compliant with a myriad of contractually required insurance coverages, i.e., types of coverage, amounts, and endorsements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with franchisees across the United States and Canada to obtain insurance certificates demonstrating compliance with contractually required insurance, including the types of required coverage, the required amounts of coverage, and proper additional insured endorsements
  • Interact with franchisee’s insurance agents to obtain needed compliance
  • Interact with TBC Corporation’s franchise personnel to assist in compliance efforts
  • Track compliance status
  • Maintain databases for insurance compliance
  • Escalate non-compliant franchisee’s for possible default or termination procedures 
  • Other duties as assigned 
  • A minimum of 3-years of insurance experience and/or knowledge of insurance policies, practices, and terminology is preferred
  • An assertive yet professional demeanor, a self-starter, determination, the ability to stay on task and adhere to deadlines, detail orientated, strong organizational skills, proficient with Microsoft Excel, Adobe and Data Entry
  • Prior experience in an office setting preferred
  • An understating of Costar and Franconnect databases, preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated commitment to compliance, integrity, and quality
  • Sense of humor
