Facilities Maintenance Dispatcher

Description

This position is responsible for fielding service or repair requests, dispatching qualified vendors for resolution and insuring the service is completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for fielding requests for building maintenance and equipment service.
  • Provide necessary follow up to ensure repairs have been made in an efficient and cost effective manner, utilizing Facilities Dispatch Software.

  • Conduct periodic training classes on equipment.

  • Perform analysis on building maintenance and equipment repair activity to determine future capital expenditures.

  • Responsible to assist as directed with resolution of annual inspections, Landlord/Lease issues and or code compliance.

  • Other duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required

Experience:

  • Prior Facilities coordination or Call Center experience required.
  • Excellent computer skills, with a strong numerical aptitude.

  • Exceptional Customer Service skills and highly motivated.

  • Must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends if needed.

  • Goal oriented with the ability to meet firm deadlines

The Associate should be able to stand, sit at an office space, see, hear and understand speech, communicate, lift computer equipment, supplies and materials, use office equipment and computers. The Associate is exposed to typical office working conditions.
