Lease Administrator I

This position assists the Manager of Lease Administration in the management of property leases.  The position is responsible for coordinating the reconciliation of general ledger accounts pertaining to property management and lease payment calculations, and other lease accounting functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare various types of documents
  • Assist in monthly rent adjustments for property locations and any editing to the property accounts
  • Receive, verify and reconcile Common Area Maintenance, Real Estate Tax, and Insurance reconciliations on property accounts
  • Manage common area maintenance, Real Estate Tax, and Insurance reconciliations, ensuring landlords send yearly
  • Communicate with Landlords daily to answer questions, provide information, and resolve issues
  • Research balances on invoices that are past due to maintain accounts current with landlord
  • Respond to inquiries from employees and landlords about properties
  • Assist in managing the sub-leases where any TBC Corporation brand is the landlord, ensuring the tenant has provided adequate insurance per the lease
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Support company’s safety standards

  • Must have a strong accounting background with a minimum of 4 years’ experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years real estate background required
  • Must be advanced or expert in the use of a computer and have strong proficiency in Excel, Word, SAP and Virtual Premise
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, employees, business and government agencies
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits
  • Must cope successfully with diversity and complexity
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks, set and meet project timetables
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
