The Division Vice President oversees all things operational within a Division and will be the primary contact between the Vice President & General Manager, the Division Sales Operations Manager (DSOMs) and the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs). 50% of the role is strategic planning and staff development. The other half is directing the activities of the DSOMs and the RSMs.  The Division Vice President will lead the strategies to improve Division operations, grow sales and profits while increasing the value of our franchise network and growing new stores.

Job Responsibilites
  • DVP oversees over 400 stores in 17 states of the central division of the U.S. and more than 65 stores in Canada.  
  • Provide leadership for our DSOMs, RSMs and franchisees to support, develop and deliver initiatives that service Midas strategic plans and performance objectives.
  • Source, interview, hire, coach and develop the DSOMs and RSMs, cultivating a culture of accountability and high performance under our TBC Corporation company values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect, Teamwork and Responsibility.
  • Monitor status reports and meet weekly with team to guide decisions, encourage engagement, provide support and maintain accountability, urgency and effectiveness.
  • Lead goal-setting and progress updates for your team of direct reports.
  • Lead and influence across multiple levels throughout the organization while fostering a collaborative, cohesive team environment with remote team members.
  • Create an environment that encourages creative problem solving, critical thinking and innovative idea sharing.
  • Provide Vice President & General Manager and other stakeholders with regular status updates, feedback and appropriate reporting on key initiatives and objectives. 
  • Set and deliver budget, goals, salaries and incentives aligned to performance goals.
  • Maintain and guide implementation of policies, procedures and tests developed by Midas and Shared Service groups.
  • Work with cross-divisional teams and Shared Service groups to build consensus on strategic objectives, goals and operational plans.
  • Oversees Divisional budget and expenses for DSOMs and RSMs and instills accountability to be fiscally responsible.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field of study 
  • 10 + years Management experience with similar employer/industry 
  • 6 + years of experience in customer care/satisfaction in a retail environment
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment requiring strict organization, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • A clear understanding of income statements, balance sheet management and cash flow
  • Knowledge of best practices for customer experience management and the customer lifecycle
  • Ability to implement and monitor a strong internal quality improvement program
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project
