Director of Retail Fleet Sales

This position is responsible for leading the sales strategy and day to day operations of the Regional Fleet Manager and Inside Sales Team within TBC.  The primary objectives for this position are to strategically grow the Local Fleet segment through new account acquisition, maintenance of existing fleet accounts to maximize sales and profits, monitor the service level execution, and assist any issue resolution.  This position will work with the Retail leadership team to develop and implement the strategy of the TBC offering to Local Fleet Accounts.  This position will help create and facilitate necessary training programs for the TBC franchise group’s to position TBC as the service provider of choice among Local Fleet Accounts. This position will work closely with the TBC Retail National Account team to ensure successful customer relationships, growth, and implementation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds TBC Corporation’s performance standards for quality and speed of service to our customers

  • Successfully execute and lead the Regional Fleet Manager and Inside Sales Team strategy

  • Effective administration and management of Local Fleet Account programs and initiatives.

  • Successful maintenance of strong customer relationships with accounts.

  • Communication of business issues / trends with both customers and retail management.

  • Sales Budget and Expense Management

  • Must be able to represent TBC Corporation at trade shows, conventions, promotional and customer sponsored events.

  • Will work closely with Midas and Big O leadership on customer performance.

  • Follow all safety practices as outlined in policy and procedures.

  • Ability to fabricate and lead retail or franchise training for Local Fleet Account sales growth, transactional execution, and customer service.

  • Partner with internal business partners to develop action plans to maximum revenue realization.

  • Collaborate with internal Business Partners to monitor performance and identify business opportunities and best practices.

  • Partner Retail or Franchise management teams to ensure customers are served at the highest level possible; ensuring customer concerns are identified and addressed internally, facilitate any system or process revisions based on feedback from customer needs.

  • Above average verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional customer service ability and a high level of professional integrity.

  • Ability to communicate with many different levels of company management.

  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

  • Ability to travel 75 % of time or greater.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or comparable experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or a related field of study is preferred

  • 8 + years’ experience with similar employer/ industry

  • 5 + years of experience in sales management

  • Motivation for successful sales and profit results toward departmental and corporate goals

  • A proven history of successful sales expertise and growth

  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth by leading a team

  • Strong analytical ability, logic and mathematical skills

  • Strategic Account development and maintenance

  • Ability to grow revenues through territory expansion

  • Must have prior multi-site/ multi-state responsibilities in a management capacity

  • Extensive data analysis experience related to customer relationship management

  • Previous experience in a fast paced environment requiring strict organization, efficiency, and attention to detail

  • Proficient in financial analysis

  • Proficient in preparing and managing financial budgets

  • Knowledge of best practices for fleet customer experience management and the customer lifecycle

  • Ability to implement and monitor a strong internal quality improvement program

  • Experience working with 4 DX Operating System

  • Required Technical skills: Operational Systems, Cognos Report Writer, Microsoft Office
