The Corporate Development Analyst II supports primarily in market planning and identifying and evaluating potential opportunities to take market by market approach to find “optimal footprint” in TBC’s corporate & franchised network.  The position will analyze business opportunities for strategic fit as you assess both business needs and operational impact. Responsibilities include market and demographic research, preparation of valuations, including related analysis of competitive market, brands and financial statements, and supporting due diligence and closing processes. Responsibilities also include the preparation of valuation, due diligence and presentation materials needed for executive and Board of Director approvals.  The position would be an integral role within Corporate Development. This position functions in a fast-paced and highly disciplined environment and interacts with all functional areas within TBC.

Job Responsibilities
  • Gather and evaluate financial and business data from target companies, along with company owned & franchised locations
  • Prepare detailed financial models and valuation scenarios for potential transactions
  • Monitors market and industry developments/trends, as well with competitors and/or potential partners
  • Monitor and ensure completion of all pre-decision analysis to ensure robust data is available for decision making purposes.  Including appropriate communication of issues, concerns or other roadblock items inhibiting progress
  • Market analysis including population demographics, competitive analysis, industry data, trends analysis and evaluation of target opportunities
  • Collaborate with Integration Project Manager on any processes relating to the integration
  • Facilitate accomplishment of all milestones through interaction with appropriate parties
  • Document business development processes and procedures
  • Recommend continuous process improvements
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Support TBC Code of Business Conduct
  • Conduct other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business preferably Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Preferred: MBA, or CPA
  • 3+ years relevant business experience, including valuation experience
  • Proven knowledge and experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and valuation (IRR, ROI)
  • Strong analytical skills including interpretation of financial statements, metrics and economic data
  • Ability to summarize and present key findings and prepare reports for management decision making
  • Excellent Project Management skills and the ability to adhere to timelines and milestones
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, graphs, and complex formulas
  • Highly motivated, high energy, results driven individual
  • Maturity, team player and superior interpersonal skills
