At TBC Corporation, we seek to make data a key component of our corporate culture, and the Business Insights Team within Corporate Development is an integral part of that continued strategy. The Business Insights Analyst supports TBC by leading multiple areas of technological enablement and providing fellow associates and stakeholders clear decision-making criteria in several key areas of the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create dashboards that allow for comprehensive corporate processes to be managed on a single interface.
  • Develop on-going and ad-hoc analyses that allow for clear understanding of business operations without need for additional explanation.
  • Recommend innovative sources of external data to manage competitive environment and understand our customers.
  • Support development of overall Strategic Plan by assisting various initiative owners with KPI development and project management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Computer Science, or similar analytical discipline.
  • 0-2 years relevant business experience
  • Experience in SQL.
  • Integrity, maturity, and team player
  • Familiarity with Python.
  • Experience in R, JavaScript, or Java is a plus.
  • Experience with data joining and visualization technologies (Looker, Tableau, Qlik, or other).
  • Proven knowledge and experience in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and project valuation (NPV, IRR, ROI).
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas (SUMIFS INDEX MATCH, nested IF, INDIRECT, etc.) and automation (VBA).
  • Ability to summarize and present key findings and prepare reports for management decision making.
  • Project Management skills and the ability to adhere to timelines and milestones
