Agile Web Product Owner

The Product Owner is responsible in ensuring that all members of the Pod are delivering value to the organization and becoming closely familiar with the needs and priorities of the customers and stakeholders. Setting, prioritizing and accepting the work generated by the team and brought forth by business needs for future growth and functionality of the product/website. As Product Owner, you will gather enhancement requests, schedule releases and coordinate sprints. Identify user needs, clearly understand and communicate business value opportunities and work with the cross-functional teams to manage product releases.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to analyze the needs and align product roadmap towards strategic goals
  • Develop scope and define backlog items (Epic/features/user-stories/a-b testing) that guide the Agile website development team
  • Solve product related problems, make decisions in the interest of the user/business, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make best business decisions
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and with to the Pod during the visioning and concept development of a sprint
  • Accountable for the deliverable of sprints, business goals and communicating any needs with business partners

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience working as an agile product owner supporting ecommerce site(s).
  • Proficient in JIRA
  • Confluence experience recommended
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, including taking initiative, providing regular updates on your work, seeking and providing support as required
  • Demonstrated functional and conceptual understanding of technical matters, as well as the proven ability to quickly learn new technical applications
