This position is responsible to profitably grow NTW sales, gross margin and share of market in commercial sales channels. Ambitions will be achieved through maintaining a customer-centric approach and flawless collaboration with the respective local distribution center operations team.

Company Overview

Job Responsibilities

  • Increase Number of Customers – New Business
    • Actively prospect in assigned market(s)
    • Participate in regional sales/program activities
    • Establish new customers/accounts
  • Increase Sales to Current Customers
    • Actively facilitate vendor programs
    • Increase NTW’s total share of wallet with current customers (all channels)
    • Facilitate and communicate NTW specific promotions and programs
    • Facilitate dealer training opportunities
  • Increase Sales in Non-Passenger Light Truck Product Categories
    • Heavy truck
    • Medium Truck
    • Earthmoving
    • Agriculture
    • Trailer, utilities, equipment, etc.
  • Sales recordkeeping
    • Accurately capture daily sales activity details and all customer contact information via Salesforce.com
  • Coordinate with Central and Field Operations Personnel
    • Meet with Central operations personnel as needed to review opportunities and collect feedback
    • Conduct ride along, training and overall support of the BDM’s in the field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
  • Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Office, etc.
  • 2-4 years outside sales experience (preferred)
  • Automotive, construction or tire experience (preferred)
  • Some management experience (preferred)
  • SAP/ Persona experience (preferred)
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Valid drivers license and MOTUS complaint vehicle
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
