Reporting directly to the Division Vice President, Franchise Program Specialist will be responsible for ongoing and new development of vendor relationships and programs to provide our network of franchisees the most competitive and comprehensive programs available working in conjunction with internal and external support - Ex. TBC Purco – Non Tire, Tire POS Provider and other as needed vendors. They will also be responsible for maintaining and updating price files between our vendors, point of sale vendor and our franchisees to ensure current and accurate pricing as well as training and supporting Franchisees within the Montreal region. Preference will be given to those who are fluent in English and French and also reside in Greater Montreal Area.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduit between Midas Canadian Field team, TBC corporate functional teams & Franchisees:
- Coordinates with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with Midas specific initiatives requirements, deadlines, and schedules – Ex. Price Files, Vendor Programs, Franchisee P/L’s for CDD etc.
- Identifying and documenting tasks, issues, and risks for assigned projects divisional leader.
- Drive project teams in identifying and providing methods for mitigating risks, completing tasks, and resolving issues in a proactive manner.
- Leads work sessions with stakeholders to identify and document decisions, actions, issues, and risks to drive Canadian P/L in a positive manner.
- Coordinates with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with Midas specific initiatives requirements, deadlines, and schedules – Ex. Price Files, Vendor Programs, Franchisee P/L’s for CDD etc.
- Ensures accurate and current pricing for franchisees.
- Negotiations with both mechanical parts and tire distributors working in conjunction with TBC Purco and other support departments.
- Support Canadian team and key stakeholders with a full analytical service offering, providing analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Support the Divisional VP with analysis and consultation for new initiatives, day to day business and problem solving in accordance with brand direction – Ex. Drive Top Lines Sales, Tire Sales, Store openings / Transfers, Customer Centricity.
- Take an active role in understanding the operational role of our team/department/division activities and strategies to gain a deeper understanding of the business.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in mechanical and/or tire pricing analysis
- 5 + years of experience in customer care/ satisfaction in a retail environment
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment requiring strict organization, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Knowledge of best practices for customer experience
- Ability to implement and monitor a strong internal quality improvement program.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and FTP files
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or a related field of study
- Occasional nights and weekends are required to support franchisees
- Must reside in Canada, preferably Toronto or Montreal Area
- Someone who is passionate about new technologies, analytical techniques, and their application to real world problems.
