Description
The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and increasing market share for our company's tire products within a designated region. This position involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the tire industry.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize revenue and market penetration within the assigned region.
- Identify key target markets and potential customers; create sales plan(s) to effectively reach them.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and cold calling potential customers.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive advantages.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering appropriate solutions.
Sales Performance:
- Meet and exceed sales targets within the assigned region.
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports, providing accurate and timely updates to management.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to align strategies and goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Qualifying candidate is preferred to have 5+ years of tire industry experience
- Competent knowledge and sales management experience of multi-segment, multi-channel product portfolio
- Previous work experience with TBC Brands Product portfolio is preferred
- Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Office, etc
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and CARDATA complaint vehicle
- BS or equivalent preferred
This is a remote position. Ideal candidate can live in the Eastern part of the US and must be able to travel within the assigned territory.
