The Regional Retail Recruiter is responsible for achieve staffing objectives by sourcing and recruiting  candidates for TBC’s National Tire and Battery (NTB) retail stores.  This is a home based position with some travel required.  The position reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Job Responsibilites

  • Provide recruitment support to the retail field management team
  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans, objectives and speaking with managers to discuss their needs
  • Effectively source, screen and schedule interviews for the selection of individuals within various markets
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Provide the highest level of recruiting service to the hiring managers you support through frequent written and/or in-person updates, frequent verbal correspondence and regular reports
  • Participate in various career fairs and community functions as a source to generate highly qualified applicants.  Build applicant sources by researching and contacting tech schools, community services, colleges, LinkedIn/Facebook groups.
  • Make presentations and provide interview/applicant tracking system training to the hiring managers you support
  • Research, analyze, prepare and present recruiting trends
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with company management to ensure ability to influence, guide, and drive the recruiting process
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity laws and company fair employment practice.  Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures and conducting training
  • Other duties as assigned 


  • A minimum of 3 years retail high volume recruiting experience
  • Proficient using candidate sourcing resources 
  • Full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of Federal EEO Laws and state fair employment laws
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational, follow-up and customer service skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated successful track record of consistently exceeding recruiting metrics
